Where AI may help a customer team

In CRM products generally, AI may be used to draft a reply, summarise notes, suggest a category or estimate which opportunities deserve attention. These are examples of possible uses across the industry, not a list of features currently included in Atlas.

Useful evaluation starts with a specific task. A draft summary is helpful only if it preserves the important facts. A suggested follow-up is useful only if someone can understand and review it.

Keep people responsible for decisions

  • Check generated text against the customer record before using it.
  • Understand which information is sent to an AI service.
  • Review suggested actions before they affect customers.
  • Measure whether the feature improves the task it was introduced for.

For example, an AI tool might turn meeting notes into a draft follow-up. A colleague still checks the agreed price, promised dates and recipient before sending anything.

AI and automation are different ideas

A fixed rule that applies a customer’s agreed discount is ordinary business logic. An AI-generated explanation or prediction uses a different approach. Both can assist a workflow, but neither label tells you whether the result is correct or appropriate for your team.

HOW THIS RELATES TO ATLAS

In the current workspace

Atlas does not currently include a built-in AI assistant, AI lead scoring or autonomous AI agents. Its quotation pricing uses explicit customer agreements and calculation rules.
