Understand the working context

Start by identifying the shared list and the percentage you intend to apply. A customer receiving a percentage discount from that list may be affected differently from a customer with a fixed product price. A preview helps reveal those differences before anything changes. Keep the decision, effective timing and customer communication aligned. A broad update should not become an unreviewed substitute for understanding important individual agreements.

Put it into practice

  • Choose the intended list and percentage.
  • Review the preview for affected and unchanged entries.
  • Check important customer-specific agreements.
  • Apply the reviewed change and prepare the relevant communication.

A practical example

A business proposes a 5% increase to a shared list. The preview shows which entries would change. The team also checks customers on fixed terms and prepares letters for those whose agreed prices are affected. If the underlying list changes during review, a fresh preview is needed before proceeding.

HOW THIS RELATES TO ATLAS

In the current workspace

Atlas includes previewed bulk price increases on Pro and Enterprise, with stale-preview safeguards and customer-letter preparation. It does not automatically negotiate or send the increase to every customer.
