Understand the working context
Decide which workspace the person belongs to and choose a role that fits their responsibility. Then review which customers they need to work with. A short introduction using a real supported task can be more useful than a tour of every menu. Explain how the team names records, records notes and assigns follow-ups. Keep password and connection setup in the appropriate application screens rather than exchanging credentials in ordinary customer notes.
Put it into practice
- Choose the workspace role and account-access scope.
- Confirm the plan has room for the active user.
- Demonstrate a customer view and a useful first task.
- Review access again when the person’s responsibilities change.
A practical example
A new sales colleague needs access to an assigned customer portfolio. The administrator creates the user, assigns the appropriate access and demonstrates how to find pricing and prepare a draft quotation. The colleague then practises the process with the agreed training data before working on live customer requests.
In the current workspace
Atlas workspace administrators can manage their users and supported customer permissions within plan limits. Platform administrators handle workspace provisioning and shared-identity password changes.
